      Administrative Claim Service, Inc. (ACS) was established in 1993. The principal owner, who founded ACS's subsidiary Administrative Computer Consultants, Inc. (ACC) in 1982, continues to play a key role in the company's day-to-day operations.

While the strength of ACS lies in its recorded statement and transcription services, ACS's foreign language department, recorded statement workshops, national field photograph service and analytical capabilities provide clients valuable services in support of their core business.

      Job Description

      Play a part in the development process of our web applications. Provide support for future and current web applications at ACS from the initial stages of designing the RDBMS database, API specifications, documentation, to front end UI work. Specifically, the duties will include:

      • Designing web based applications written using the MVC programming model
      • Programming interactive web applications with PHP, HTML5, Javascript and using related frameworks
      • Using CSS3 or related frameworks to design frontend UI
      • OOP will be used in all aspects of the applications written
      • LAMP will be used for development environment
      • Use of virtualization for development and testing of web applications and UI
      • Using our source code management system to manage code changes
      • Writing unit tests for web applications.

      • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer and Information Studies, or related
      • Proficiency with PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, RDBMS, and WAMP or LAMP, and
      • Six (6) months experience in web development, experience may have been gained post baccalaureate or concurrent with the pursuit of the degree. Part-time amounting to six (6) months full-time equivalent, or full-time acceptable.
